Inside Scoop

Room 406 is one of my favorites as it's the only room on property with skylights!

Venue Features
The scene:

Our property is nestled between Lakeside Beach and Heavenly Mountain Resort and offers design-minded travelers a new motel experience that embraces modern style and convenience while celebrating escapes to nature. Embracing sustainable style and modern conveniences while returning to the simplicity of another era by way of a renovated 1960s motel, the Coachman serves as both an elevated retreat as well as a gateway to the wild.

Design:
We're dedicated to sustainability while supporting American artisans and locally-made goods. Each piece is hand-picked, considered for both its function in the space and the story it can tell.
Standout venue features:
All guests are provided with free access to a private beach, complimentary wifi, parking and continental breakfast with Belgian waffles and Stumptown Drip Coffee (full espresso bar also available), on-site craft beer and wine bar, and evening Fire Pits with complimentary S’mores.
Extra perks:
Our indoor venue comes complete with tables (including a 12 seat board table which converts to a full-size ping-pong table), chairs, wifi, and a wet bar with the option to hook up Beer, Wine, Cold Brew Coffee, or Kombucha.

Our outdoor venue includes wifi, six beer garden tables with bench seating and a bar area.
Food Restaurants, Cafes, Bars, Lounges
This section provides insights into our diverse culinary and social offerings.
We offer Bar Bites which include a Black Tahini Hummus and Charcuterie Plate, and a handpicked craft beer & wine list which incorporates brewers and winemakers from our region.
The heart of our Hotel. The central ‘bar’ serves as both the reception desk and traditional bar serving coffee, beer, and wine. We think of it as a modern take on the days of a single motel proprietor or traditional hostel. The lobby also connects to the breakfast area and features several different seating areas to relax and put your feet up. Sliding glass paned doors look out on the pool, hot tub, and fire pits. Great coffee and drinks combined with ample comfortable seating, reading material, and games make our public space the perfect place to start and end your day.
