Donna
EST. 2012
I had a girl, Donna was her name...
This chic cocktail club is self-described as an "elegant place for dirty kids." If Donna was a super hero, her daytime persona would be Darla - the coffee-drinking professional with a creative job and by night, a disco queen with whiskey for blood and stars in her eyes. Double down at the Donna and do right by your next dance-the-night-away.

Venue Setting
DONNA is an elegant space for dirty kids; a Williamsburg cocktail bar that takes pride in our loyal local customers and thoughtfully crafted libations. Fully recovered from an electrical fire that left our friends’ highballs empty for half a year, we’re re-opening the doors at Donna with a myriad of new, clever and delicious cocktails, tasty tacos by Jesse Kramer’s Brooklyn Taco, and the same light & airy central American inspired ambiance by hOmE, that has drawn people to Donna since it opened in 2012.

With the best street art, pizza parlors, artisan shops, rooftops, brunch spots and local music scene, it’s easy to see why *some* people think Brooklyn is the best (nay, the only) borough. While we won’t duke it out over which pizza shop has the best grandma slice or which neighborhood has changed the most in the last decade (fighting back opinions here, y'all), what we can tell you is that there’s a ton to do and see in Williamsburg alone, not to mention the rest of Brooklyn.
If you’re coming here with a group of friends and looking to stay at a towering townhouse in Williamsburg or a cushy hotel in Dumbo, we got you. Trying to find a brunch spot that stands out from the rest? We’ve got that too. Come along as we explore a little slice of Brooklyn in the summertime.

Gatherings

It’s 2016 and long gone are the days of trading boxes of Sweethearts for Whitman’s Mini Samplers. The real celebration this year lies in the heart of enjoying time with your #squad. Whether you’re single or just plain uninterested in the cliché date night with champagne and strawberries, we’ve got a guide to NYC Valentine’s Day that’ll have you thinking outside the heart-shaped box.
If breaking hearts and taking names is your girl gang’s claim to fame, be sure to do it right by throwing a mega roller derby bash at an old Brooklyn warehouse or throwing a vixen valentines soiree at a Chelsea loft. And if you’re about that outdoorsy campfire life, we’ve got a load of getaway options too. From Bushwick to SOHO to Upstate NY, we’re hopping all over the New York map in this Girl Gang’s Guide to Valentine’s Day.
