The scene:
Our property is set on the shores of Sydney Harbour with extensive beach and harbour views. Located in the historic Chowder Bay precinct, East Coast Lounge is housed in an 1890's historic buliding originally part of the Australian Navy, the Submarine Miners Depot. Chowder Bay has it's own private jetty so arrival by water taxi is spectacular! We are only a 15 minute water taxi ride from the city! Decorated like a beach house, East Coast Lounge has a casual, coastal feel with different lounge and table settings for relaxed 'lounging around'. East Coast Lounge is adjacent to beaches and grassed areas, all with water views so photo opportunities abound!
Design:
Our 1890's historic naval building is the epitome of modern coastal chic! With whitewashed lining board walls and pitched tray ceilings, casual, modern coastal and plantation furniture, our guests feel as though they are at a coastal resort. Furnished like a home with lounge settings, a fireplace for winter as well as small and large table settings and brass features showing a nod to our naval heritage, East Coast Lounge is an extremely versatile venue.
Standout venue features:
Arrive at East Coast Lounge like a rockstar! Catch a water taxi to our private Chowder Bay wharf! Furnished and styled like a like a beach house, guests will feel like they are partying at a private harbourfront home without the cleaning up! As we are also a concept store, we can arrange hampers and gifts for your corporate meetings or event guests. Our furniture and homeware displays are all available for purchase too. In winter, snuggle up in front of the fireplace on our comfortable, high end, always changing sofas and armchairs.

East Coast Lounge specialises in freshly sliced charcuterie boards, Australian and international cheeses and bar food using the finest artisan ingredients. For events, our grazing station has to be seen to be believed! We also offer a canape and substantials package that is a standout!
East Coast Lounge is a wine bar/cafe. We serve Sydney craft beers and cider, Australian wines from 5 star rated vineyards, Italian Prosecco and French Champagne. We are proud to use who we consider to be the best coffee roasters in Sydney, Allpress, adhering to their strict service guidelines when making our coffees.
