Venue Setting

The name Charrúa comes from the aborigines of the territory delimited by the Rio de la Plata and Uruguay River, which also inhabit southern zones of Mesopotamia Argentina and perhaps coastal areas of the Middle Paraná River. They were, together with the Chanaes, the Guenoas and Yaros, the first historically known inhabitants of the lands of the present territory of Uruguay. The macro-ethnicity Charrúa, majority, had the cultural level of the superior hunters, canoeros and fishermen. This culture is wanted to transmit in El Charrúa, where the Uruguayan Jose Ramenghi, has adapted areas that allow us to feel as part of this. The excellence of the hunting of this culture refers to the specialty of grilled meats of this restaurant. In addition, the modernity is mixed with a cozy sense in this place.
