The latest venture from seasoned designer and restaurateur Nicholas Mather's aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to the southern Mediterranean all whilst staying in the heart of Santa Monica.
The menu is light coastal Italian and the three bars on the property offer a variety of fun, approachable cocktails inspired by the flavors of Italy as well as a collection of natural wines.
Elephante beach house is full of custom, furniture, and design touches that surround the guests with natural wood and stone, copper finishes, and design pieces from northern Africa and southern Italy.

Looking back in reflection of 2018, our team did some pretty amazing, creative and downright cool things. From exploring the frozen wonderland of Wyoming to celebrating each team birthday in a very TVR way to checking out a lot of new venue, hotel and restaurant openings – we've been busy. When hopping on the next flight to the coast of Italy isn’t an option, enter Élephante Beach House, a new Mediterranean inspired rooftop restaurant in the heart of Santa Monica overlooking the ocean.
Dreamt up by designer and restaurateur Nick Mathers – known for fellow LA hotspots Eveleigh, Goldie’s and Little Ruby – Élephante Beach House is a culmination of his global travels brought to Southern California. We were invited for a sneak peak of the restaurant, to sample what’s to come on the food and drink menus, and experience the beauty of the Mediterranean in Los Angeles.
