Perched right on the edge of the golf course, Fairways is the perfect spot if you’re coming to La Quinta to practice your swing. It’s right on the Jack Nicklaus Private Course (part of the legendary PGA West complex) while the slightly smaller (but no less lovely) Palms Golf Club is at the end of the street. The home itself is clearly a labour of love for the host, Karen, and she’s kitted it out with everything you could need. As well as the obligatory pool and fire pit, there’s also a BBQ island, a pool table, and an enormous outside TV, so you can enjoy the game from the water.
