Fort George is famous for its sublime sunset views which light the sky in an array of colours. Whilst it may happen every day, a sunset over the Med never loses its allure. Make sure to check the time of sunset and we advise planning the event around it! This golden hour is not to be missed and the sea will be bathed in ethereal hues of orange and pink.

The Mediterranean ambiance is magical. The garden not only sets the perfect backdrop for your wedding ceremony, but the restaurant and dance floor are also situated there, making it the perfect outdoor setting to dance the night away beneath the stars.

The rooftop terrace is ideal for the cocktail reception, providing wonderful panoramic sunset views. And, if the weather were to take a turn for the worst, the rooms inside of the Fort are a more than a satisfactory backup option, providing you with an 1800’s royal treatment feel.

The two hundred year-old fortress has been restored into an awe-inspiring events venue with a rustic, bohemian feel and hosts a restaurant, lounge bar, open air night club and art gallery.

The garden sits beneath a forest of pines and is the ultimate secluded spot to bask in the sun or relax in the shade. The rooftop has 180-degree views of the Adriatic and is the perfect place to watch the sun sinking below the horizon. The restaurant serves the finest Mediterranean cuisine and the head chef, inspired by the venues spectacular setting, fuses the traditional with the contemporary to create innovative dishes.
