Gather Greene was designed first and foremost for weddings, events, and retreats. From big moves, like building out a large commercial catering kitchen, to less obvious details, like being sure there was enough space to hang a long dress in the cabin; weddings, events, and retreats were always the top priority. Yet, Gather Greene is also a breathtaking backdrop for film and photo shoots, and of course a tiny cabin escape for two is also always a possibility...
Weddings:
The full property for a full weekend, with 17 cozy cabins for your nearest and dearest. Don't let your wedding pass by without taking the time to savor all the fleeting moments. We want you to have time to relax and just hang out with your people. A full weekend at Gather Greene has a way of making the days and nights stretch out just a bit longer.
Pavilion:
You want an outdoor wedding, but not an outdoor wedding tent. You want to be outside in nature, but also be ready for whatever nature has planned. Allow us to introduce you to the Gather Greene pavilion. Whether you're planning a grand soiree with 250 of your best friends (our max capacity) or a more intimate dinner party, the pavilion has you covered. An interior section within the pavilion houses all supporting amenities; six single use bathrooms, two luxury dressing suites, a generous catering kitchen, and a large upstairs lounge space. In other words; this pavilion is the answer to your outdoor event dreams.
Cabins:
All the comforts of a tiny hotel room, in the middle of the woods. With a grand picture window, you will feel like you are out in nature, but with air conditioning, heating, and warm showers, you will be able to enjoy it like never before. Each one of our seventeen cabins comes with an outside deck, a king size bed, bathroom, closet with large mirror, mini fridge, and caffeine fix.
Grounds:
Wondering what all the fuss is about the grounds at Gather Greene? It's hard to describe just what it feels like to be here, but we'll try. We sit on over 100 acres, but all of the main attractions live in relatively close vicinity at the very top of our great ridge. From this vantage point, your gaze travels clear through to Massachusetts and the Berkshire Mountains. The ridge also grants amazing privacy, and of course we took advantage of this feature of the landscape, placing the cabins right on the precipice, so you can feel like you're sleeping in a tree house (no ladder necessary!). What else do we have up here? Well, since we are perfectly located between two mountain ranges -views of the Catskill Mountains can also be enjoyed from the pavilion and massive field just outside. Did we mention we also have an old blasted out shale quarry (complete with pond) that feels like an oasis in the middle of woods? Oh and of course there's the wooded trails, the hammock circles, the lower fields, and watching the sun rise from your cozy cabin bed.

Gatherings

This season, we pulled together a mix of our favorite venues from the Camp VR collection alongside a few new discoveries and paired each with an outdoor dining theme designed to actually work in winter. Inspired by Tabloo Margot’s Heritage Season dinner in the woods, complete with Wellington boots, hip flasks, and clay pigeon shooting, and our deep dives into Ralph Lauren’s American West holiday window and Le Supper Club’s approach to theatrical hosting, the throughline is clear: the most compelling dinners start with a strong sense of place and let everything else follow. When the setting is right, the details, food, drinks, table styling, even how guests arrive, come into focus.
The venues that follow are cabins, lakeside lodges, ranches, camps, and glamping sites that already do half the storytelling for you. A pavilion between mountain ranges calls for late season harvest cooking; a Maine camp leans naturally into nostalgia and fire circle dining; a Wyoming ranch begs for stews, boots, and an after-ride cocktail by the barn. Winter is when themed dining shines. Cooler temperatures invite heartier food, longer tables, warmer drinks, and a sense of shared experience that feels earned. Start with the venue, choose a theme that fits its bones, and you’ll find the dinner practically hosts itself.

We’ve gathered intel from far and wide, using the best of our TVR abilities to discover 28 of New York's hottest new venues, hotels, restaurants and cafés that have opened from last spring till now, and some that have yet to open their doors too. You might find hotels in your own neighborhood you had no idea existed. You might even find a few places you’ve been busting at the seams to host an event with. There's a stunning Scandinavian-inspired wedding and event venue in a Hudson. There's a new mid-century modern hotel opening at the TWA terminal at JFK. There's plenty of new restaurants embracing color and cozy cafés perfect for spending the day in.
No matter the size of your gathering – from coffee for a couple to a fête for five hundred – there's something on this list in New York to fit your next event, big or small.

If you’ve ever spent much time camping, you know it’s all about the gear. You have to have the right size tent that’s light and easy to pack down, a portable stovetop for cooking meals and getting that essential morning coffee ready, comfy sleeping bags and so much more. We say leave the fuss for someone else to handle and book into a place that does it all for you instead! Opt for a glamping trip and you can still enjoy all the perks of camping - like fireside chats and time spent under the stars - with none of the hassle. Best of all, this is the easiest way to bring a whole bunch of friends along for the ride.
We’re excited about a lot of tented campsites this summer, from a luxurious bubble tent in the Maldives to a Bedouin safari camp in Wadi Rum. There are Airstreams throughout America that can be rented for special gatherings or just to sleep in for a night or two, as well as tiny cabins in the countryside that have all the Hygge you could possibly desire. So, grab your crew and get on out there under the stars.

Gather Greene’s Scandinavian approach to country living includes relaxing in minimalist cabins, wandering through wooded forests and getting together with friends in a casual, comfortable and rejuvenating way. It was in that spirit that designer Danielle from Good Look'n and florist Amy from Luna Moss brought together a group of girls for a end-of-winter styled shoot that feels like a bachelorette party weekend.
The formula was simple: a beautifully set dinner table for lingering meals, a snowy forest foraging walk to get everyone outside, and hands-on crafts to bring the group together without a packed schedule. An easy way to reconnect with your closest friends before or after the business of the holidays.
We interviewed Elizabeth to get the whole back story behind the shoot and why Gather Greene made the ideal backdrop for a winter weekend with friends, and her tips for hosting your own cozy, no-fuss cabin getaway.

We’ve gathered intel from far and wide, using the best of our TVR abilities to discover 77 venues that have opened around the world from last spring till now, and some that are soon to swing their doors open too. You might find an urban winery in your city. You might find hotels in your own neighborhood you had no idea existed. You might even find a few places you’ve been busting at the seams to host an event with.
If the sheer quantity of venues on this list is any indication of a worldwide desire to connect, gather and celebrate just about anything, consider us impressed. There’s a beachside barn in Australia where you can host an environmentally conscious wedding with lodging for all your guests. There’s an old church in New Orleans filled with relics that doubles as an incredible photography and styling workshop space. There’s a new hotel in downtown Portland that’s killing it by celebrating the head chef’s Texan roots. There’s even a cute little hideaway in the countryside of Idaho where the sweetest family of all time is ready and waiting to make your wedding dreams come true. Whatever kind of venue you’re on the hunt for, we sure hope you find it in the list below.

Scandinavian design has long served as inspiration for interior designers around the world, and that inspiration is often worked into public spaces like hotels, cafés and restaurants that seek to be known for their beautiful environments. Today, we’re sharing some of our favorites.
Head to Stockholm for an overnight stay in a room that’ll have you feeling wrapped in Scandinavian luxury. Stop into a coffee shop in London for a delicious pastry and setting that’ll remind you of your Scandi travels. Sip champagne in a gorgeous Australian tasting room that has serious Scandi design roots. Or, grab dinner at a minimalist Michelin starred restaurant in Chicago. We’re all about the options here, and these are some of the best in the bunch.

Sprawled across a hundred acres of rolling hills that sit between the Berkshires and the Catskills, this Hudson Valley nature retreat was built to encourage guests to enjoy nature and relax and reconnect with friends and family in a cozy environment. There are 17 beautiful little timber-and-glass cabins at Gather Greene, along with an open-air pavilion that makes one awesome gathering space. During a recent open house at Gather Greene, guests were greeted with warm apple cider doughnuts and spiked cider drinks before heading into a cheese-making demo and touring the property. A trip down to the shale quarry pond even turned up crystals for some of the guests.
Owners, Amna and Jackie are giving us the full scoop not only on the gathering, but also on the property’s inspiration and the process from vision to fruition. Hop on down below to read more about the Dutch concept of Gezellig and how coziness is a major factor in creating such a place.
