The scene:
Designed by champion golfer, Peter Thomson, the par 71 championship Hamilton Island Golf Club on neighbouring Dent Island measures 6,120 metres (6,692 yards). The only championship island golf course in Australia, designed to challenge all levels of golf enthusiasts, from resort guests to professional golfers. The par 71, 18 - hole course features two distinctly different nine-hole circuits returning to a central Clubhouse with breathtaking views of Dent Passage and Hamilton Island. The island's natural beauty, together with its rugged terrain showcases stunning 360-degree views across secluded coves and beaches to adjacent passages and islands, and the mainland beyond.
Design:
The contemporary, architecturally-designed Clubhouse sits up high on Dent Island, capturing the soft sea breeze, allowing you to take in the incredible views of Passage Peak and the sparkling Coral Sea.
Standout venue features:
The experience begins when you board our custom-built Golf Club ferry that can hold up to 50 guests at the Hamilton Island Marina. Take in the awe-inspiring beauty of the Whitsundays as you cruise your way over to Dent Island. Upon arrival, you will be greeted at the Golf Club jetty and transferred up to the Clubhouse.

This section provides insights into our diverse culinary and social offerings.
With magnificent views of Passage Peak and the Coral Sea, the elegent Clubhouse is the ideal location for a relaxed lunch or light refreshments after a game of golf. Getting to the Clubhouse is a fun and unique experience in itself - requiring a boat ride across to Dent Island. The menu is diverse and features plenty of local, seasonal produce.

Lunch special – $75 per person, which includes return Island transfers from Hamilton Island to Dent Island, a two-course a la carte lunch at the Clubhouse, and a complimentary tour of the Hamilton Island Golf Club.
