Inside Scoop

Our monthly Thursday Farm Dinners feature fresh from the farm organic produce. Chef Brett makes a delicious wild mushroom pizza. We also create our very own customizable honey favors for weddings, bridal showers, and baby showers. Heritage Prairie farm works will many local vendors like Graham's Fine Chocolates and Ice Cream, Sweet Ali's Gluten Free Bakery, Violet & Pearl Vintage Rentals to add a more specialized touch to your wedding day.

The scene:
Our property is set on beautiful Illinois farm land that prides itself in delicious food. We aim to deliver some of the best farm-to-table dishes by growing, year-round, beautiful Certified Organic Vegetables right on our farm. On site, there is a tall white bar with black trimming that provides the perfect photo-op. Everyone loves to take pictures in front of our vintage GMC truck! Walk out onto the fields and be immersed in true country life with a gorgeous Illinois backdrop all around your. Stand beneath the tall tree next to the Farm House for your wedding ceremony.
Design:
All standing structures on the farm boasts a classic "farm house" environment with white barns and black trimming. Attached to our Heritage Prairie Farm store is a fully working wood-fired pizza oven. The pergola, which most couples are married beneath, is detailed with hops vines. Couples are welcome to decorate the pergola in the style of their wedding. Our goat house features a chalkboard wall for guests to write on. Many guests have converted the goat house into their own Photo Booth location with props, hand-written messages and frames.
Standout venue features:
All guests are welcomed to the event with a vintage lemonade stand stocked with lemonade, water, and/or apple cider depending on the season. We have monthly Farm Dinners that features the growing vegetables of our Certified Organic Farm. Our summer Pizza Nights are a local favorite!

In September - December our Farm Store is open Wednesday - Friday 9AM - 2PM AND Saturday 9AM - 4PM. In December – April our Farm Store is open Saturday 9AM – 4PMand in May – November the Farm Store is openWednesday – Saturday 9AM – 4PM. You can shop our onsite Heritage Prairie Farm Store for our vegetables, honey, and local farm goods.
