Venue Setting
Nestled along the East River next to the historic South Street Seaport, Industry Kitchen is just steps from the water’s edge. The stunning 5,000 square-foot venue accommodates up to 300 guests with indoor and outdoor seating, allowing unobstructed views of the Brooklyn and Williamsburg Bridges and Brooklyn Skyline. Industry Kitchen offers modern American cuisine based on seasonal market ingredients and simply prepared dishes that New Yorkers know and love, such as abundant salads and wood oven grilled meats and pizza. Pizzas start with dough made on natural levain, slowly fermented to develop all the natural flavors. A simple combination of quality ingredients is added and each pizza is cooked to perfection with the intense heat of a wood-burning oven. Those who pass on the pizza for their entree won’t want to miss the chocolate pizza for dessert. Complimenting all menu choices is a wide variety of craft beers, signature cocktails and an extensive wine list.
Playing off the seaport’s vintage industrial setting, Industry Kitchen occupies an angular structure featuring reclaimed plank wood, black tile and raw concrete. Floor-to-ceiling windows seamlessly separate the indoor and outdoor areas, framing a picturesque view of the waterfront that can be enjoyed from any seat. Guests have the option of dining at stools overlooking the active kitchen, individual and communal dining tables, the large freestanding bar or the outdoor terrace and lounge.
