Venue Setting
King River Ranch is a world-class wedding and special event venue on the banks of the great Pedernales River, a Texas treasure in the magnificent Hill Country on the flourishing Texas Wine Trail between Austin and Fredericksburg. Built on 25 powerfully diverse and panoramic acres in the heart of the Cowboy Country, the ranch sits directly upon land continuously settled by Comanche tribes dating back millenia, a story told by countless arrowheads and artifacts found here. K.R.R. is owned and was designed by global event designer of Willem-Aidan, floral & event design house to the celebrity lounges at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards, Cadillac and Audi. The ranch features magnificent backdrops in every direction; our River Terrace built into the Pedernales River Valley, dramatic black rock riverbanks, perfectly manicured grounds and our magnificent King Barn bordered by serene horse-filled pastures and a pond straight out of a Mark Twain novel, fireflies and all. This is the Texas the rest of the world dreams about.

Weddings

Texas Hill Country can be a place where you seek out seasonal creeks and swimming holes, or a place where you escape to sit in the stillness of vast golden landscapes filled with prairie grasses and giant oak trees. Whatever setting it is you’re after, there’s likely a wedding venue tucked somewhere in the mix. There’s a century-old pharmacy that sets an ideal backdrop for a vintage-style wedding. There’s a cypress tree lined creek with something akin to a summer camp set just beside it. There’s an imported French Colonial chapel in the hills. There’s even a yacht club in Hill Country. You name it, we’ve found it. And today, we’re sharing our favorite finds of the area.
