In a remote setting that defines paradise, Koro Sun Resort & Rainforest Spa immerses you in a genuine Fijian experience that’s tropical nirvana. In the native north on “Fiji’s other big island” of Vanua Levu, our 160-acre sanctuary was born of a nature lover’s dream. The tropical retreat is etched within a coconut plantation that’s encircled by rainforests at the edge of a stunning private lagoon. Our 50 private bures and villas are spacious, individually appointed and fully air-conditioned, ranging from on the water, adults-only accommodations, to one, two and three-bedroom bures surrounded by the lush rainforest.

Weddings at Koro Sun Resort and Rainforest Spa take on special meaning, not only to our couples who choose us to start their new life together but to our special staff, who make sure each moment is a memory to treasure and last a lifetime. We create and craft unique ceremonies and romantic interludes – from a casual, barefoot beach marriage service for two, to a tropical soiree in the rainforest for up to 120 guests.

With 50 spacious fully air-conditioned bures and villas guests can relax in style and enjoy the stunning surroundings. The adults-only Edgewater Bures and  Fiji’s only Floating Bures offer the ultimate over water experience. The romantic setting is perfect for honeymooners looking for that something special. Or our Garden side of the resort, is surrounded by lush tropical gardens with quaint accommodations. Couples can enjoy the adults-only Edgewater Beach Club featuring an infinity pool with swim-up bar. The perfect location for sipping cocktails at sundown. The spacious 2 and 3 bedroom bures and villas are ideal for families and larger groups, with 2 pools to choose from (one with a waterslide!).

The most breathtaking setting and the one that truly sets us apart is the resort’s backdrop of lush rainforest. The aisle runner is completely hand woven and the guest benches are handcrafted from fallen coconut palms and rain trees, while the tropical plants and rainforest offer a natural canopy within mother nature's church.

The possibilities for your wedding are endless. Exchange vows by candlelight in our over the water pavilion, or on a grassy knoll overlooking the reefs and rainforest. Share a wedding kiss at sunset, or a beachfront ceremony at sunrise. Stand aside a rushing waterfall, or under a full moon glimmering across the South Pacific waters. Walk down a sandy beach, along side a blue lagoon, escorted by Fijian warriors, or arrive by sea, on a traditional Fijian bamboo raft. Paradise awaits for your special day…

Inspired by the spirit of the South Pacific and infused with natural elements inspired by the rainforest, ceremonies at this resort are filled with chic tropical accents straight from the pages of a wedding magazine.
Standout venue features:
Plunge into the crystal clear waters of the Koro lagoon straight from your own private beach patio, swim beneath pristine waterfalls in the lush untouched rainforest, indulge in a romantic massage amidst the singing birds and trickling streams in our Jungle Spa, and toast at the end of the day over a private candlelight dinner. Your biggest concern will be whether to relax by the ocean with a glass of chilled champagne or take a kayak out for a leisurely paddle.
Extra perks:
We boast an experienced events team and a dedicated team member will be on-hand to assist couples throughout the entire process, from the planning phase right through until the end of the big day, and will cater to special requests, such as intimate ceremonies; Fijian wedding costumes; professional flower arrangements and photographers; and traditional wedding cakes. We are happy to offer complimentary 5 nights accommodation for the bride and groom in an Edgewater Bure for weddings of 25+ guests.

You'll enjoy many options dining at Koro Sun Resort. All meals are prepared with the freshest ingredients from our Organic Gardens on the plantation with Pacific Rim style of cuisine. Our talented chefs prepare a variety of a la carte options, from ginger and garlic lobster, coconut mud crab, other mouth-watering gourmet delights. Whether you are after a casual waterfront grill, light lunch in our main restaurant or an adults-only intimate setting. We cater for food allergies and special dietary requirements upon request. We are happy to offer a variety of private dining locations.
Levu (meaning big) This long bar is located within the Palm Grove Restaurant offering a full bar menu, with fresh tropical cocktails, local and international beers and a range of wines from around the world.

Latitude 17 With daily happy hour, guests can unwind at the end of the day with a full selection of tropical inspired cocktails, beer and wine, whilst savoring the beautiful sunset along the coast.

Wai Bar (Wai meaning water) The new Edgewater Beach Club features a swim up bar with service offered directly from the infinity edge swimming pool. Spectacular sunsets go well with happy hour specials and a unique cocktail menu. Cheers!
