• Kitchen / Caterer Access Fee
  If you do not use a professional caterer, there's a flat $350 kitchen usage fee.

• Alcohol / Bar Related Costs

  • Alcohol, mixers, and garnishes are not included.

  • You’ll need to use their TABC-licensed bartenders and security (for liability).

  • Additional charges may apply if you want a more premium beverage package or extended bar hours beyond what’s included in the package.

• Overtime / Additional Hours
  The standard package covers a 12-hour window. If you want to extend beyond that period, you may face overtime or extra‐hour charges.

• Guest Count Overages / Per Person Add-Ons
  Some packages have guest limits, and adding extra guests beyond that limit may incur a per-person fee. For example, in the “Shore” package, after 125 guests, there is a per person charge. 
  Similarly, in several tiers, beyond up to 160 guests there’s a per person rate.

• Taxes
  The pricing listed often refers to “+ tax”—so state/local taxes will be added on top of the package cost. (Not Venue Rate)

• Decor, Upgrades & Add-Ons
  If you wish to upgrade décor, specialty lighting, florals, premium linens, or “extra touches” beyond what the package includes, those extras may be charged separately. (They do include décor in higher tiers, but optional upgrades may cost more.)

• Service Charges / Gratuities
  Lakefront Acres promotes transparency and we do not add hidden fees as many venues commonly do.

• Security / Liability Costs
  Hiring security (especially when alcohol is served) is a requirement. The cost for security is often bundled in some packages, but if you need additional security beyond what’s included, that may be extra.
  Also, you’re required to maintain liability / event insurance (often $1M minimum) for vendors and alcohol — that is a cost you’ll need to absorb.

• Vendor Requirements / Cleanup Penalties
  Although cleanup and breakdown are included, if vendors or guests leave behind trash, décor, or require extra cleanup or staff time, additional fees may be assessed. 
  Sometimes if vendors don’t remove their own items or if late breakdown happens, that could incur extra charges.

• Discounts & Non-combinable Offers
  They offer a 10% discount to veterans, military, and first responders, but such discounts cannot be combined with other offers.
