While Miami may be known for palm trees, ocean breezes, sandy beaches, vintage South Beach vibes, Art Deco designs and glittering nightlife, it is also home to the American Art Basel. The Miami of today is a storied city with multicultural roots and a glamorous past mixed with a global urban grittiness, boldly pushing the limits of what’s possible in art, design, food and hospitality. This comprehensive Guide to Miami will take you down iconic oceanfront Collins Avenue in South Beach, home to glamorous hotels, museums and a progressive culinary scene, through urban Brickell, the city’s financial center, as well as the Wynwood Arts District to the community-based food hall revolution until all you can think about is when real life ends and a magical weekend in Miami begins.
