Mitchells Meadows comprises of 80 acres of majestic forests, three meadows and Independence Creek meandering through. It is surrounded by National Forest, so the venue offers complete privacy and no unreasonable noise curfew.

There is unlimited accommodation available in Truckee and Donner Lake, only 30 minutes away. Magnificent Lake Tahoe is a further 15 minutes

The scene:
To access Mitchell's Meadows, guests would have driven through the Tahoe National Forest and besides the Little Truckee River, along the Highway 89 Scenic Corridor. The property consists of pine forests, meadows and Independence Creek. There are beautiful vistas of distant mountains.

Each bridal couple personalize their wedding by choosing the location of their ceremony anywhere on the 80 acres. There are innumerable settings for once-in-a-lifetime photographs.
The reception area is large enough for the celebrations to be "under the stars" but a 65X45ft sailcloth Tidewater tent is erected in the corner, in case the weather should turn inclement.
