Museum of Ice Cream San Francisco is an immersive theatrical experience, uniting people of all backgrounds in the name of ice cream.
From unicorns to cookie carousels, to swimming pools of rainbow sprinkles, our globally recognized experience is unique to each city it visits and is currently only in San Francisco, California. MOIC is housed on two floors with a ground floor with 40+ feet ceilings,  a mezzanine and lower-level over 15,000 square feet.

Museum of Ice Cream is an immersive experience that unites people of all backgrounds in the name of ice cream. We believe in creating beautiful and shareable environments that foster IRL interaction and URL connections, providing fun, multi-sensorial expressions of ice cream that cater to the appetites of our generation. With over 1M visitors across five different cities, MOIC is a place where anything is possible! From unicorns to cookie carousels, to swimming in pools of rainbow sprinkles, our globally-recognized experience is unique to each city it visits.

Our San Francisco location is housed in the historic bank building in Union Square with over 15,000 square feet. It includes a beautiful lobby with 40+ feet ceilings and Roman architecture , a private mezzanine space, and a lower-level of whimsical installations.

Venue Features
The scene:
The Museum lives in the historical landmark at 1 Grant Avenue, a 1910 bank building nestled in the heart of San Francisco's Union Square. Entering the building, guests are welcomed into our Shop and full-service ice cream counter. From the intricate dome ceiling, standing pillars, and floating sprinkle lights, the building has been inspired by Roman architecture, with a MOIC twist. And of course, the lobby area is completely decked out in our patented Pantone 1905C Pink color!
Design:
The Museum experience contains 10 installations, including the infamous Sprinkle Pool (complete with a swing set and slide). The lobby area contains the MOIC Shop and access to the private Mezzanine.

Museum of Ice Cream can provide a staff of guest experience specialists- those who can bring the space to life and fully embody the MOIC brand. For the Experience Tour, there is a variety of ice cream and treats served along the way. Ice cream scoops and sundaes can also be served in our Shop.
