Venue Setting

Opened in 1998, Paperbark Camp is one of the first luxury tented camps in Australia and after thirteen years continues to be at the forefront of the 'glamping' revolution. Located amongst soaring gumtrees on the banks of a tranquil waterway, and not far from the famous white sand beaches of Jervis Bay, the camp is renown as a romantic weekend getaway, the perfect escape from our busy modern lives offering wonderful food, a peaceful bush ambience and very genuine hospitality.

The unique and private setting makes for a wonderful wedding venue and over the years we have been lucky to host some truly beautiful and memorable wedding celebrations. What most people don’t know however, is that Paperbark Camp has also played host to many corporate (and not-so-corporate!) events, providing a unique environment to showcase a new product, get the team together for some problem solving, or just to reward them for a job well done. Paperbark Camp and Jervis Bay feel a world away from everything, yet are easily accessible by car being only 2 1/2 hrs drive from Sydney and Canberra, the perfect place for a rendezvous!

Additional charges

Additional charges really depend on what kind of event is being booked. A dinner for 20 held mid-week may have no additional charges other than the food and beverage costs. An event that requires exclusive use of the camp would require all 12 tents to be booked as well as catering. Weddings and other celebrations may attract additional charges such as venue hire ($1000-$2000) and On-Site Ceremony Fee ($800). Best to contact us directly with your requirements and ideas and we can tailor a quote accordingly. Corporate events held mid-week attract discounted accommodation rates as do other group bookings held in off-peak times.
