Venue Setting

The story of how a former Masonic Hall became an elegant home, then opened it's doors to become an event space like no other, a space at once retro yet modern, industrial yet intimate, organic yet chic & utterly unique, is, of course, a love story.

Like any project that captivates, charms and mystifies, Projekt 3488 has grown from the passion of it's designer-owner Mark Fenech. The simple dignity of the 1920's building was the perfect setting for his collections. Unusual objects sourced over decades have been brought together in an interior of bespoke elegance; historic artifacts, designer objects and remodeled industrial discards now sit within a stunningly renovated hall, gathering spaces and Zen gardens. Mark knew he'd created something very special, something he wanted to share. Projekt 3488 was born.

From the main hall with it's solid timber banquet tables that concertina back to the walls when the dancing begins, a spiral staircase winds to the upper level lounge area. With suspended circular fireplace, and custom built wooden doors that roll open onto a large terrace with spectacular mountain view, this is the place for the most unforgettable parties. Then there's time out by the reflective pools of the garden.

Situated in the historic village of Warburton in the Yarra Valley, just an hour from Melbourne, Projekt 3488's exquisite space is available for weddings, celebrations, private events, corporate retreats, community & cultural gatherings, gallery shows and performances.

2017's Hottest New Venues Across The Globe
You can have the most fun life. It’s not as hard as you might think. To enjoy an extraordinary time in this world, it’s largely a matter of who’s around you, what you have, and where you are. Naturally, the best move on your part, if those things have lined up well, is to throw a party—any kind of party, from cocktail hour to wedding. Alas, seeking out the perfect spot to host the best day/night ever can be a challenge. But that’s where we come in. Truly, we at the Venue Report think that finding a new place to celebrate all that existence has to offer is one of the most exciting things anyone can do. So to keep the good times rolling, we compiled a super-list of sorts, laying out the greatest venue openings of last year and the most exciting ones set for this year.
