Venue Setting

The Santa Barbara Wine Collective is located within a warehouse space that was originally owned by the Castignola Family. The Castignola's operated the historic Santa Barbara Fish Market in the 1920's and the site has now become a local city landmark. The vision for the space was urban, industrial with a sophistocated, casual feel; a space where novice wine tasters and wine connoisseurs and everyone in between would feel welcome to enjoy Santa Barbara's finest varietals.

The Santa Barbara Wine Collective is a unique tasting room in the heart of Santa Barbara's Funk Zone. Where art meets surf meets artisan wine and craft beer, the Funk Zone is the place to be in Santa Barbara. We are the only tasting room in Santa Barbara County to offer wines from six different vintners side by side. Here, you will learn how to differentiate wine styles, climates and soil compositions that directly impact the characteristics of each wine.  Santa Barbara Wine Collective features premium wines, most of which are rarely found outside of the vintners' estate properties.
