The 1896, Studios & Stages boasts over a dozen various location within one 26,000 sq ft warehouse complex.
Built in the day when artisans toiled over the elements of masonry, and design was born out of craft. It was a building that must have made someone very proud when she was erected and in was in that spirit that I began my work on these spaces.

The 1896, Studios & Stages boasts over a dozen various location within one 26,000 sq ft warehouse complex. The two main brick warehouses feature 7,000 square feet of sky-lit space, 24-foot and 37-foot steel A-framed ceilings, as well as wide-ranging and revolving century-old textured walls throughout. Joining the main stages, a 2,500 square foot brick-lined courtyard and drive features an overlooking balcony and 4 fire escapes. Located just 15 minutes from Manhattan in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY. Our film stages are known for both their variety and inspiration as well as their convenience and hospitality.
