Venue Features
The scene:
Originally a block-long factory erected for the manufacture of electrical conduit. Built in the day when artisans toiled over the elements of masonry, and design was born out of craft. It was a building that must have made someone very proud when she was erected and in was in that spirit that I began my work on these spaces. I found hiding beneath years of use and layers of toil - the charms, details and imperfections of her century-old patina. It has been important to me to respectfully embrace the character, nuance and original detail that 115 years of labor had inadvertently bore upon her surfaces. And a real inspiration to see what other amazing photographers/directors and visual artists see within these spaces for themselves. And so with the help of some amazing employees and supportive clients we hope we can continue to 'play up her assets' - make this place a comfortable and inspiring place to shoot while preserving her beautiful raw spirit for many years to come. We hope we can welcome you here soon to see what you make of her!
