The oceanfront oasis provides a kaleidoscope of experiences like vibrant mid-century modern décor, direct access to famous Miami Beach, a chic backyard pool vibe with two heated pools (one for adults only), colorful poolside cabanas, bungalows and cool cocktail scene. The hotel is known for an impromptu Lady Gaga photo shoot, surprise Lil Wayne concert and the setting for Dua Lipa's "New Rules" music video, which has been viewed more than 1.7 billion times on YouTube.

The scene:
The Confidante combines the vibrant glamour of Miami’s Golden Era with the sophistication and amenities of the modern day. With deep historical roots in Miami Beach, the three-towered property pays homage to the glamorous feeling of the city in the 1950s and was the first modern skyscraper on Miami Beach. The hotel originally opened as the 16-floor Lord Tarleton Hotel on Collins Avenue, making headlines and representing a boom for the city’s economy.
Design:
The hotel's design showcases the creative talents of revered British interior designer Martin Brudnizki and Miami’s famed landscape architect Raymond Jungles. The Confidante has nearly 340,000 square feet of newly renovated indoor meeting and event space and 15,000 square feet of outdoor space. This includes The 1930s House, a historic Spanish-style bungalow and private event space was originally built as a single-family home during the 1930s and located across the street from the hotel. In 2001, the structure was picked up by a crane and moved to The Confidante’s backyard, then again in 2006, to the space where it currently resides. It still has the original wood beam ceilings and hand-carved limestone fireplace.

The Confidante features two heated pools (one for adults only) and private beach with colorful Art Deco-inspired beach chairs and umbrellas. An on-demand floatie menu features selections for every occasion, including everyday fun, bridal parties and PRIDE, while the hotel’s custom retail cart, styled to match The Backyard’s retro-glam look and feel, invites guests to make the most of their oceanfront oasis with custom retail items and designer sunscreen. A matching roving delighter cart hand-delivers local handcrafted ice cream and paletas. The hotel features a hotel-exclusive Cielito Artisan Pops cocktail and popsicle pairing menu poolside. Enjoy a daily hotel-wide happy hour, DJ entertainment and live performances several days a week and hotel-exclusive fitness classes from local studios. With a well-rounded journey in mind, The rooftop Spa at The Confidante combines classic services, from hot stone massages to deep tissue therapy, with new-age offerings, from local-led fitness classes to crystal massage journeys, and magnet face masks to treat the mind, body, and spirit.

Bird & Bone is a Southern-inspired restaurant led by celebrated South Florida chef Richard Hales, known for is outdoor patio and signature Nashville Hot Fried Chicken, which has won numerous local awards including Miami New Times' "Best Fried Chicken". Cafecito Bar serves craft coffee drinks from local favorite Panther Coffee, authentic Cuban coffee, along with grab and go food items like guava & cheese pastelitos and gluten-free blueberry muffins. The Backyard menu of casual cuisine offers and specialty cocktails offers favorites like Key West Shrimp Tacos, Super Food Salads and rum-spiked Thai Coconuts in the gardens, poolside or on the beach.

The Confidante recently unveiled the $5 million oceanfront Carmen Miranda Ballroom, a 4,639 square foot space featuring stunning design elements reminiscent of Miami’s golden era. The space offers a pre-function area, expansive indoor ballroom and a private wrap-around terrace.
