The Inn at Grace Winery is a tranquil haven situated on fifty acres in the historic Brandywine Valley. The estate features the inn and cottages, the barn and winery, vineyard and sprawling grounds. The inn has a number of options to accommodate gatherings from 6 – 140 persons. Whether it is your dream wedding in the barn, a corporate meeting, a private family dinner, or a cocktail reception on the back patio overlooking Sweetwater Wood, the Inn at Grace Winery is a perfect backdrop for a memorable event.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Our 50-acres are set upon historic Brandywine Valley, and the renovated 1750 bank barn backs up to gorgeous foliage on the southern side of the property. The estate vineyard is west of the Manor House built in 1734. The side porch is the perfect location to watch the sun sink behind the vineyard while enjoying your favorite Grace Winery vintage.
Design:
The Manor House was originally a Quaker farm house from 1734, and when the Hemphill family took over the property, they added an addition in 1815. Over the years it has been renovated and re-renovated into what we have today: unique bedrooms with original fireplaces, a spacious restaurant-grade kitchen, and various leisure rooms. Additionally, we have cottage-style rooms created from outbuildings. Even the old ice house is now an office for our owner! Each of the rooms and cottages has a full bathroom and at least a queen sized bed. The bank barn built in 1750 has been recently renovated into our third floor event space and tasting room, second floor restrooms and conference room with a caterer-ready kitchen, and first floor winery. The first floor opens onto a large outdoor patio and an ampitheater used for wedding ceremonies and cocktail parties. 
Standout Venue Features:
Located in the 1734 and 1815 wings of our beautiful manor house and in the surrounding cottages, the Inn at Grace Winery offers fifteen distinct luxury accommodations. Each room is tastefully appointed, featuring queen beds and private ensuite baths. The Manor house offers central air- conditioning as well as individual heating controls for your comfort. The cottages each offer individually controlled heat and air-conditioning. Our guests enjoy amenities including TV, DVD players, alarm clocks with iPod docking, and free wireless internet access. All of our accommodations also include irons, ironing boards, hair dryers and cozy luxury linens. We also feature an environmentally friendly line of toiletries from Gilchrist and Soames.

With so much open space over our nearly 50 acres, we welcome families with children or pets in five of our most comfortable cottages. Pets are even welcomed with a welcome basket including a quilted sleeping pad, water bowl and towels to dry off.

-Sweet Treat Package: Indulge yourself during your stay with homemade truffles from the kitchen at Sweetwater and a bottle of Grace Winery wine. Perfect for the guest with a sweet tooth. Add $70.
-Celebration Package: Celebrating an anniversary or birthday? Consider this package which includes a bottle of Grace Winery wine and an individual cake to celebrate your occasion in style. Add $55.
-Wine Weekend: Start your weekend with a bottle of our very own Grace Winery wine. Then you can traverse the Brandywine Wine Trail with two passports for a tasting at each of the participating wineries with a lovely fruit and cheese plate the Innkeeper’s have prepared for your day. Add $80
-Gift Certificates: A Sweetwater Gift Certificate makes a great gift for any occassion. Available in any dollar amount, call to speak with an innkeeper about purchasing the gift of relaxation.

Tasting Menu Dinners: Each season brings new flavors to savor. Enjoy a private dinner for your group of 6 – 10 people in the speakeasy wine cellar at the Inn at Grace Winery. Chef Scott Megill designs a seasonal menu that is paired with the boutique wines from our estate winery. Dates are filling up fast. Call now to reserve your date. Breakfast: Breakfast is included in the price of your stay at the inn. A good night sleep is not complete without a delicious breakfast to follow. Every morning our guests are treated to a menu of tasty treats to get the day started. Beginning with a hot cup of coffee or fresh orange juice to our fluffy blueberry pancakes and our house specialty of Chardonnay Basted Eggs over Local Mushroom Hash, our breakfasts will help you start the day right!

Additionally, we have begun to serve lunch from 12-2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays in the tasting room. Inn guests are also able to order lunch from our chef if desired. An exclusive for guests of the inn, our lunch consist of sandwiches, salads and daily specials. Our made to order lunches can be enjoyed with a glass of wine around the property, including on the vineyard terrace, at the pool or next to the pond.
Bars & Lounges:
Tasting Room: Our tasting room is open Friday – Sunday. We hold our tastings in two locations on the property, either the barn tasting room or the vineyard tasting patio. Our regular hours are Friday from 4-9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from noon-5 pm.  Please check our calendar for location and hours of operation as we alter our hours and location for private events. Wine can be purchased as a tasting, by the glass, or by the bottle. A tasting flight is $15 per person. Snack food is also available for purchase.

Grace Winery offers private tastings for groups of 2-6 persons. Tour the property with a member of our winemaking team while sampling 6 of our award winning wines. Cost is $40/person. Please contact us to schedule your tasting.

Additionally, the Manor House has an honor bar available to all of our inn guests.
