Aspen is known for the luxe, the celebrity sightings and the mansions all with an après ski attitude. If the finer things in life mixed with a healthy dose of adventure speak to you, then Aspen may just be your perfect bachelorette party destination and it all begins with where to stay. Winter in Aspen will always hold a special place in our hearts but warmer months are not to be overlooked for the outdoorsy girl group – hiking, rafting and horse back riding are just some of the warm weather activities that will make you forget your après ski plans of chillier times.
Gather up your best gals for a weekend in a 5 star mountain top retreat, a laid-back Mid Century Modern stay or a secluded home with the comforts of a hotel.

If you’re like us as soon as March 1st hits, you’re updating your spring wardrobe with pastels and pops of neon – investing in your newest pair of festival lace up sandals, a bikini (or two), arranging pretty blooms allll over your house, dusting off that bicycle and planning beach getaways with your bests. With spring always comes a beautiful reinvention, the shedding of winter coats & heavy fabrics for gauzy prints and caftans, trading comfort food for juicy and colorful fresh fruits and vegetables now in season. Indoor takeout (we’ll never give up Netflix & chill no matter the season) for outdoor farmer’s markets and best of all, welcoming that that big ol’ dose of Vitamin D we’ve all been craving so desperately!
New Year’s Eve is one of our favorite holidays here at the Venue Report. Why? Because it’s celebrated by nearly every culture around the world. In Iceland, people burn big community bonfires to get rid of the past year’s bad juju. In South Africa, people parade through the streets in costume. In Newfoundland, people share poetry over a gunfire salute. And in Miami, well, in Miami people party like rage machines.
We’ve covered all your New Year’s celebration possibilities, from California glamping to luxury hotel stays in the Maldives, from African safari adventures to late-night parties in Los Angeles. If you can't make it this year, save these for your dream gatherings and getaways for next year! So, here’s to a brilliant 2016, filled with more opportunities to travel, gather and explore!
