Watch ships sail by from (almost) every room in the house, or head down to find a private sandy beach just a couple of minutes walk away – the historic monument of Queen Adelaide's Grotto is also just forty-five metres away from the home. Take a pair of binoculars outside onto the patio or roof terrace and if you’re lucky you might spot seals and dolphins in the waves below. Some have said it's also a great place for sightings of rare bird migrations if you’re visiting in spring or autumn. Go for a half-hour stroll along the dramatic coastline to find delicious pub food in the quaint fishing villages of Cawsand and Kingsand (both just an-minute drive away). Hop in the car to reach miles of surfing beach at Whitsand Bay in fifteen minutes.
