Venue Setting
The Chapel: Established in 1887 and later decommissioned in 1985, this charming chapel still holds a soft spot in the hearts of the surrounding community. Abandoned but not forgotten, some saw the chapel as "too far gone" but we celebrated restoring this old building like saving an old friend. It is here in the heart of Chatham County where we dream up ideas, romanticize everything and host events where every detail is beautifully thoughtful and unique.
The chapel is sweet and simple; unpretentious yet tastefully elegant - heck, we would even say she's kind of fancy. Not your traditional catering hall or trendy meeting space - here we celebrate style and tradition our way. Thanks to much thoughtful re-purposing, the chapel is living her second life and is our one-of-a-kind space for spirited events, creative workshops, markets, and business meetings – for consultations, fittings, book signings, chef dinners, and a truly unique setting for film & photo.
But please remember - she is vintage and she is special to us. We are not the be-all and end-all of rental venues; we would even say that we are not for everyone. BUT - if you have been looking for a place to gather that tells a very special story then we are all in!

Good ole James Taylor had it all right when he wrote, “In my mind I'm goin' to Carolina. Can't you see the sunshine? Can't you just feel the moonshine?” North Carolina, with its incredible mountain ranges and gorgeous landscapes, is so full of good, fresh mountain air you can practically feel yourself recharging in the countryside out here. And whether on a beach or in the mountains, we all know there’s nowhere better to get married than while basking in the glory of the sunshine and the moonshine.
From countryside farmhouses way up in the mountains of Asheville to boutique hotels on the outer banks of the NC salty coast, this great state has a wedding venue that’s perfect for just about any couple planning a gorgeous southern wedding. If you’re into contemporary art, there’s a great hotel museum in Durham. If you’re more about that slow secret garden in a historic town vibe, there’s an atrium in Wilmington that could be right up your alley. Take the jump into this tree-filled southern state with us and let us know what venues you’re ready to feel the moonshine in.

Upon approach from the main road you will see our 129 year old chapel from a distance standing stunningly in its simplicity.

The main space features stained glass windows and pine floors original to the chapel, a kitchen prep area with cabinetry refashioned from chapel doors and countertops milled from chapel pews.
