Welcome to The Ridge, our newest wedding site and residence, that provides guests with breath taking 360 degree views of WNC’s gorgeous mountain ranges. Located in Marshall, NC, The Ridge offers a sense of rustic elegance while providing the perfect backdrop to your special day. After the ceremony, enjoy cocktails and appetizers on the residence’s wraparound porch or take a walk around our lush property complete with rolling hills and friendly horses. - Ceremony at The Ridge
  • Ceremony Site Capacity:
    250
    The Residence Capacity for post ceremony cocktail hour :
    60 guests seated, 125 guests cocktail style
- Price for Ceremony Only Includes:
  • 2:00 P.M.- 5:00 PM  for ceremony and post ceremony cocktail hour
    Client has the facility for a total of 3:00 hours. Bride may select specific agenda according to personal preferences.  
    Parking for 100 cars.
- Additional use of The Ridge Residence: $1,500.00
  •                 Bridal Party getting ready time
    Use of The Ridge Residence for 5 additional hours  - Time will be 9:00 am- 2:00 P.M for ceremony rental only
    Beverages available upon request;  charged per consumption basis 
    Lunch service available upon request (additional charges will apply)
    Client may bring their own snacks and lunch. Clean up fee will apply of $150.00 
 
-   Bar Services – Transportation Services Required
Consumption Bar: You only pay for exactly what was consumed by your guests.
  • $10.00 deposit per guest for beer, wine, soda and water
    $15.00 deposit per guest for beer, wine, soda, water and liquor.
    • Final bar bill will be tallied at the end of the night.
      An active & valid credit card is required for this bar option

- Catering for post Ceremony cocktails
The Ridge provides the client with a ‘small bite’ menu. All items are individually priced per person. The client has total control of the total dollar amount they want to spend as well as the specific food choices.
 Prices are subject to change according to market value and every effort will be made to convey the change in price to the client at the earliest convenience.
- Parking
  • We have designated parking on our property for up to 100 vehicles.
    Ceremonies with a guest count over 125, shuttle service is required
- Outside Vendor Fees
  • There is a 10% outside vendor fee on florists/decorators, catering, music/entertainment, bakers, etc. 
- Rough Timeline If You Choose To Book With Us:
  • Amend estimate to better reflect the direction your party is configured
    Contact a member of The Planning to inquire about any assistance we can provide
    Contract signed & deposit due (1/2 of estimate)
    Schedule a logistical meeting to go over event details and floor plans
    Adjust details as needed as details are firmed up
    3 weeks prior to event: Touch base to cover any last minute details. 
    Final guest count, menu and bar arrangements are due.
    2 weeks prior to event: Final payment due
    Day of: Relax and have one of the best days of your life!
- Service Charges (20% of all Food & Beverages)
This fee applies to all food and beverages and helps to defray the costs of Ridge management and other employees working for your event, but not directly related to your event’s night-of duties. It is not a gratuity for the service staff. Tips are appreciated, but not required.
 
 - Specialty Items
Specialty glassware, serving mediums/china, and specialty décor & centerpieces will be presented on your estimate in a separate line at a cost current as of the date of the estimate to the best of our ability. The amount shown will be dependent on amount desired, availability of product, and estimated delivery costs of products. These costs are subject to fluctuating 3rd party prices that are out of our control.

The Ridge Staff is Responsible for The Following:
  • Setting tables on the floor according to floor plan, and placing linens on the tables according to floor plan
    Providing all glassware, flatware and  linens to the caterer according to order
    Providing all beverages services, including  non alcoholic drinks
    Providing tables for caterer
    Providing Ice for bar services only
17 THE RIDGE - RULES & GUIDELINES
  • No outside beverages of any kind are permitted on Ridge property.
  • We reserve the right to refuse service to a person who shows signs of intoxication.  The Ridge promotes drinking responsibly and follows all ABC and A.L.E. rules and regulations.
  • No smoking is permitted anywhere on the property except for designated smoking areas. No smoking is permitted whatsoever inside of any building located at The Ridge.
  • Client is responsible for any damages to the building or décor caused by intentional neglect or actions of their guests and/or vendors. 
  • Client is responsible for any theft by their guests or vendors.
  • We do not hold dates without a deposit unless there is a verbal “save the date” agreement; in which case we will hold the date/room for you for one week so that the contract can be signed and a deposit made.
  • No movement of The Ridge décor without Ridge management approval and proper labor to move requested item(s).
  • The Ridge will not be responsible for items left behind. All items left are given to your event coordinator/planner at the conclusion of the event.
  • Please do not use any chairs as a stepping stool. We will be happy to provide you with a step ladder.
    When candles are provided by florist, it is the responsibly of the florist’s staff to light these candles, please be sure they bring lighters. All candles must be in glass (or other non-flammable) containers regardless if they are being lit or not.
