Built in 1950's, The Steeple House in Kapalua has a rich history of serving the Maui community. Originally founded as a church to serve the pineapple and sugar cane plantation workers, it has also served as a wedding venue and event space.

The chapel is built on the coast of Kapalua in West Maui. It is within a close walking distance of Fleming beach, perfect for a beach ceremony or photos at sunset.

Design:
The interior of The Steeple House has been remodeled in 2017 with every modern amenity. Three beautifully design restrooms include antique sinks and dressers. The beautiful bridal suite is outfitted with an oversized mirror, vintage and modern furnishings set in beautiful natural light for hair and make-up.

Additional interior details include sliding barn door to customize the space as you see fit. Stained glass windows depicting tropical flowers and pineapples. Beautifully restored wood ceilings and flooring welcome you and your guests to dance the night away!
Standout venue features:
The Steeple House does offer direct beach access for beach ceremonies or photos. We also have a variety of spaces, both indoor and outdoor to offer our guests options for a variety of event designs. The outdoor Mau'u Terrace can be used for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and can even be tented. For larger groups, the Makai Lawn can be tented for up to 500 guests. Our proximity to West Maui hotels in Lahaina, Kaanapali and Kapalua offer a convenient wedding or event location for guests from out of town.
