Inside Scoop

In 2013 Villa Loriana was called Loriana Ranch and featured an event tent with a brick floor & Groom's Cabin where the Villa now stands. Late one night in 2015, a fire burned everything down (thankfully, no one was onsite or injured). We've since re-opened and rebranded to Villa Loriana. You can find some of the burned brick in a sitting nook adjacent to the turret.

Venue Features
The scene:

Designed with weddings in mind, Loriana is the ideal venue for your special day. There are two “get ready” areas for the wedding party and families. One large 2-bed suite inside the Villa, and a private wooden cottage with a large outdoor patio. One main ceremony spot features a gorgeous wooden pergola, which sits in front of a tall trickling waterfall planted with lush greenery.

Post-ceremony, your guests can enjoy our additional water features, expansive park lawn, and lawn games while sipping on their libations during cocktail hour. Afterward, you and your guests will enter our two-story, 13,000 square foot Italian Villa for the reception. The main level includes spacious dining, dancing, and bar areas, as well as a caterer’s kitchen, and plenty of guest bathrooms.

The spiraling staircase inside the gorgeous stone turret leads to the second story. The balconies up here offer a unique vantage point to soak in all of the amazingness of your wedding. Upstairs you will also find an intimate lounge area furnished with lush furniture and a fireplace, bathrooms, and your “get ready” suite, along with two other suites used for overnight accommodation.

Design:
Designed with old Italy, glamour, and modern luxury in mind, inside the Villa you'll find gorgeous crystal chandeliers, sconces, tall ceilings and dramatic cream drapes throughout. The stone turret features a stunning chandelier and 300-year-old beams reclaimed from a local barn. The custom designed doors, windows, and door hardware continue into the Suites upstairs and are paired alongside white stone walls and tons of natural light.
Standout venue features:
Our acre of water features and stone turret create the illusion that you're a world away, but instead you're only a short 15 minute drive to beaches, San Luis Obispo airport, and world-class wine tasting.
