Known for its incredible art and music scene, unforgettable southern hospitality, and obsession with its football team, Atlanta is easily one of the most entertaining cities south of the Mason Dixon Line. Making it even cooler, quite a few of the industrial digs around town have been revamped into giant, open, light-filled warehouse studios and event venues.
Designed by a photographer with a serious love for perfectly lit spaces, Ambient Plus is just that kind of warehouse venue. Walls of giant windows line the white brick walls framing the room, while rustic wood floors anchor the soaring ceilings. And though any wedding would certainly transform this space into something interesting, this bride crushes it in her coral tulle gown and bold blue hair.

Tell us a little about the couple and wedding.
This wedding was so special to us because the couple is near and dear to our hearts now. Jaquie was paralyzed from diving into a pool as a teenager and has been in a wheelchair ever since, until her wedding day when she walked down the aisle, danced almost the entire reception, and stood for a total of about 5 hours.
What was your favorite memory from the day?
Everyone laughed and cried -- it was magical.
Was there anything special that was incorporated into the day?
She has been working towards walking for about 8 years but really buckled down this past year after Andy proposed. She worked 6 days a week for hours and hours in order to be able to walk down the aisle. I am tearing up again now. Her story and their love for each other is such an inspiration to us.
Does anything about the venue really make it stand out?
This clean, all white interior gives a modern feel to everything and really gives the couple a blank canvas so that they can add their own personality to the wedding day.
Tell us about the venue and why it's perfect for weddings.
Ambient Plus is now our absolute favorite wedding venue in Georgia. It's difficult to come by venues like this in the Southeast. We see a lot of barns and venues that are more on the rustic side.

Imagine being a guest at a wedding in one of the most unexpectedly beautiful venues in Atlanta and witnessing a woman not only walk, but also dance, for the first time in years? And not just any woman. Your friend or your family member. That’s powerful stuff, y’all. Kudos to this family!
