Go ahead and pour a glass of California sparkling before you read on, because this Beaulieu Garden wedding hit all the wine country wedding goals we could come up with and we have a feeling you’re going to want to toast to this special occasion.

With Jose Villa (perfectly) capturing the event, Shannon Leahy Events heading up the planning, and Atelier Joya designing this Napa Valley wedding, it was easy for this couple to expect absolutely stunning wedding photos. Not only did they hire a dream team to ensure a gorgeous and timeless wedding, but they also chose to celebrate at one of wine country’s most beautiful private estates.

Located in San Deigo, California is the hip and happening neighborhood of North Park filled with culture, art, entertainment and some of the best restaurants in the city. Amongst the many ahead-of-the-trend saloons and local fooderys is hidden gem, Jaynes Gastro Pub, a casual yet chic bar & eatery serving modern British pub fare & drinks. Jayne's is naturally just one of those spots that you dream of having a gathering at. With a twinkle light patio and urban vibe anything is possible. Well, for Krista and Daniel their dream came true.

They had been going on dates to Jaynes Gastro Pub for years before deciding to ask permission to use the space for their wedding. Krista and Daniel’s wedding was the first ever at the Pub. The brick flooring, market lights, and tall hedges made this back patio an ideal space for their intimate 75 guest wedding. Not only was there sentimental value in the space but it fit Krista's effortlessly romantic southwestern vision like a glove. We teamed up with wedding photographer, Brogen Jessup to give us the inside scoop on the day, details and newest venue to the San Diego area.

If you’ve ever explored Phoenix, you’re well aware of the architectural mix of old storied buildings and modern developments. Possibly no other singular structure tells the story of the mix of old and new as the The Monroe Abbey, a former Baptist church that was destroyed by a fire in the mid ‘80s and is now undergoing a transformation to keep its early 20th century exterior intact while cleaning up the inside to hopefully host open-air events inside the roofless shell.

Prior to the restoration kicking off at Monroe Street Abbey, a lucky couple was able to plan a wedding inside the crusty, crumbly old building that dates back to 1929. A gathering of local bar and restaurant pros, their wedding was one full of celebration and simple design in not-so-simple spaces.
We recently reached out to photographer, née storyteller, Jamie Allio for the 411 on this wedding. Because really, why get married in a church when you can get married in church ruins?

Ever dream about throwing the wedding rule book out the window, running to the hills and saying "I DO" in a remote location with only a handful of your closest loved ones and the trees around you as guests? Well, you can! It is totally doable and we found a couple who made it happen.

The two met in New York City and after a couple years of adventuring together, both had dreamt of one day being wed on the West Coast. Fast forward to this time last year the couple had some decision making to do. We’re breaking down the steps to recreating this for you savvy DIY-ers out there. 1. Find a prime location, 2. Gather your gang, 3. Grab some bottles of champagne because, bubbles. Lots of bubbles. If your version of a gorgeous wedding goes deeper than simply admiring the aesthetics of a beautiful gown and stunning bouquet, this Guatemalan soiree certainly delivers the depth you’ve been on the hunt for. A soul-felt, intimate affair, this Shaman-led ceremony overlooking Lake Atitlan has us feeling truly connected to Mother Earth. And for the visual junkies, the canoe swing boat, blush-toned walls, and classic rustic thatched roof make for some real eye candy too. With its unrefined, rustic approach to architecture and everyday living, Guatemala is the kind of place that feeds your soul. In the case of this couple, Rachael and Jason wanted to share that calming, healing vibe with their closest friends and family, basking in that energy throughout the course of their wedding celebration.

Extraordinary photographer Phil Chester was along for the ride and agreed, “Their wedding was nothing short of magical… it felt remote and as connected to nature as it gets.” The first look, blindfolded, was especially magical for the duo that fell in love during their first trip to Lake Atitlan.
