Patagonia has been all over our radar in recent months, what with the stunning scenery, endless adventures and gastronomic intrigue. In the northern region of Chilé’s Patagonia sits the village of Pucón, and in it, Hacienda Hotel Vira Vira. An architectural masterpiece, this luxury boutique hotel and fully functioning farm shines bright like a diamond in its pristine setting.

Go ahead and rally your troops, groups and get to planning your next adventure with your closest kin. This place is simply too good to ignore, and way too good to keep to yourself.

Luxury Lodging

A Relais & Chateaux hotel founded in 2014, Hacienda Hotel Vira Vira is made up of a hacienda, a main hotel and a dozen villa suites. Each overlooking some stunning view of volcano, river, pastures, grazing animals, and mountain peaks, the suites are beautifully designed to frame the bucolic setting. Imagine waking up to such a scene as the sun is rising, knowing that the day ahead will be adventure-filled and spent in wonderful company. Winning!

Gastronomy First

Remember when we mentioned Hacienda Hotel Vira Vira was a fully functioning farm? We meant it. In fact, not only does the on-site restaurant grow its own ingredients, but there’s a dairy farm that produces cheese too. The menu changes daily and takes influence from local indigenous recipes as well as from menus around the world. Sounds like an easy place to host a gathering for your people. Oh, and the wine list… Hello, Chilean wines!

Chilé’s Northern Patagonia Region

Ancient forests, lagoons, rivers, lakes, mountains, national parks, volcanoes, wildlife, and more make up adventure after adventure worth seeking out in the region of Pucón. After an action-packed day of hiking, kayaking, fishing, snow sports, horseback riding, and getting to know the local Mapuche culture, settle in with your travel buds by the riverside for a relaxing evening in the hotel’s fire-heated wood hot tubs. We can’t think of anything that sounds more glorious.
