If you've been following along with us this month you're most likely experts on the Hello America story and it's creators. After following their five month journey of life on the road we interviewed Kristen Blanton and Matt Jozwiak to get the inside scoop on how they did it, tips, tricks and advice on how to expand your dollar in the most impactful way so that you too can travel like an expert.

Lucky for us, we experienced the two adventure-seekers in their natural habitat while taking time to see what a day in the life looks like for Matt and Kristen.

Follow along, take notes and don't miss out on the additional tip + tricks included in the Hello America video located at the bottom of this post!

Our first stop with Kristen and Matt was Mission Street Beach in La Jolla, CA to try our luck with some deep sea fishing. Unfortunately, the sea was unkind to us that day and only small fish were out and about. However, if you are ever in La Jolla during March, Mission Street Beach is great for catching lobster. Just make sure you sign up for a license online. Happy fishing, friends!

Our next stop was to a Cardiff Seaside Market for some picnic treats. Exploring North County? Here are some of our favorite local markets:

- Leucadia Farmers Market

- Lazy Acres Natural Market

- State Street Farmer's Market

Next on our iteniary was the yellow wildflower fields just North of South Ponto Beach. This area is a secret to most as many flock to the well-known Carlsbad Flower Fields. Complete with trails through the sunshine covered meadow, this stop is perfect for a picnic.

Finally, to end the day we ventured over to South Carlsbad State Beach Campgrounds to see where Kristen and Matt were spending the night. This campsite is fit for a camping queen as it over looks the Pacific Ocean surrounded by palm trees and greenery. We invited the rest of our team for a gathering filled with smore's, brews and talks about the roads untraveled. Wanderlust naturally filled the atmosphere as the sunset into the deep blue.
