Summer is here and with it, outdoor activities that call for chilled beverages, preferably that are glass-free for easy park, beach and backyard consumption. A few years ago, canned wine was no small feat to come across but as of late, it's beyond easy to find. We recently hit up our local liquor store for an impromptu tasting of the current varieties: there was plenty of rosés and a few whites (we stayed away from red for our summer inspired tasting). We picked some based on the label and some based on familiarity and some were a shot in the dark. We rounded up the team on a sunny afternoon to sample the tastes of our local market and jotted down initial thoughts, flavor notes and serving suggestions so that you too can head to your canned wine provider with confidence.
