Venue Setting

Ambrosia Restaurant was born in 2003 on Calle Merced on a terrace behind the Museo de la Casa Colorada, in the Plaza de Armas. The Bazán Bañados family starts under the command of Luz Maria Bañados from the Banquetería towards the Restoration and her daughter Carolina Bazán, recently graduated from the school of gastronomy, takes charge of the kitchen. The Restaurant soon stands out and installs as a reference to lunch in the civic center of the capital. For almost nine years. In 2012 they change from the Center to the Oriente sector of Santiago, to Pamplona street, in a residential neighborhood and away from the gastronomic circuit. Thus, in 2013, the reopening of Restaurant Ambrosía takes place in its new location and with a new concept. The result is a modern Family Restaurant, where the fresh look of Chef Carolina Bazan and the market products lead a menu that changes according to the season.
