Based in Paicines, CA, Bar SZ Ranch is a charming destination for weddings, engagements, and other joyous occasions. Adventurous couples will adore the scenery with rolling landscapes and botanical blooms. The ranch features a peaceful, secluded setting in a valley for your vow exchange, cocktail reception, and after-party. This family-owned ranch is set on 2,200 acres of private land. You can host your ceremony in the great outdoors surrounded by tall oak trees and your loved ones. This also makes for wonderful post-ceremony photos that are sure to be cherished for years to come. Addtional facilities include on-site cabins for newlyweds and other guests. These luxury homes include high ceilings, stone fireplaces, a gas barbeque, a sparkling pool, and games room, comfy bedding, and so much more.

We can sleep up to 40 guests in beds between two houses, bridal apartment, and two glamping tents. Guests beyond this number are welcome to camp (tent rentals, dry camping, or RV camping) in our spacious camping meadow.

Owner and Barn Manager Michelle Borland, has decades of riding, trail-guiding, and instruction experience and is passionate about educating everyone she can on all things horsemanship. Come on down to the barn at feeding time to meet the horses and other animals, and she and other staff will be happy to share their passions with you!

Set on 2200 acres in its own valley with iconic California oak trees and golden hills; views of the surrounding mountains and Pinnacles National Park; and painted, sunlit skies photographers and couples swoon over, this working ranch offers a unique, destination-wedding experience. Enjoy a perfect, peaceful escape from city life, whether snuggled up in front of a campfire, hiking through the mountains, or encountering the ranch animals.

The Bar SZ is a rustic ranch that allows for intimate experiences, or festival-sized celebrations. You'll be fully immersed in an authentic, working ranch, while enjoying the comforts of luxury accomodations.

Our ranch experiences empower guests to get their hands dirty, step outside their comfort zones, and experience day-to-day life on a working ranch. You can choose to participate in horseback riding, animal encounter expereinces, BB gun and archery shooting, as well as hiking, mountain biking, and simply enjoying the great outdoors.
