BeefBar is an international franchise originally from Monaco, currently with seven outlets from Dubai to Hong Kong, each offering exquisite food.

- The Scene:
- The Beefbar Budapest is placed at Clark Adam square at the Buda side of the Chain Bridge. There is a 3 m high limestone sculpture at the square, which is the zero kilometre stone of Budapest. Clark Adam square is named after the Scottish engineer who completed the work on the adjoining Chain Bridge. As well as overseeing both constructions, the Scot saved the Chain Bridge from being blown up by the Austrian army attempting to quell the Hungarian Uprising of 1849. Hero status was sealed when Clark not only built the Tunnel under Castle Hill but married a Hungarian and fathered three children here. A few hundred metres along from the Chain Bridge, past the Várkert Bazaar, a plaque marks the house where the Clark clan lived.

- If you’re a meat lover and enjoy a stylish interior with beautiful views, you’ll love BeefBar Budapest. Their venue at the Hotel Clark overlooking the Chain Bridge offers breakfast, lunch and dinner in an art-deco interior. Décor has been provided by Emil Humber, who had to work within the confines of a franchise, but has managed to create an interior of white, gold, blue and green which creates a cosmopolitan space with a lavish backdrop: the Chain Bridge.

- Beefbar Budapest is the only establishment in the city to offer certified-quality Kobe beef, universally considered the ne plus ultra of meats. And not just any Kobe beef, but full-blood, A5 tajima-gyu, what is called the emperor’s cut, 200 grammes the minimum order. Kobe bacon also appears to bring out the accompanying mashed potatoes, which also come with jalapeño peppers or veal jus & thyme. The only pork item amid the rib eyes is Hungarian-bred mangalica. Here the sztrapacskanoodles come with sheeps’ cheese foam, bacon, basil and cream of cabbage.
