Bill Miller's Castle is an extravagant, family-owned banquet facility located in picturesque Branford, Connecticut, near the Connecticut shoreline. Originally built in the 1880s as a barn, the structure has lofty ceilings, crystal chandeliers, a large dance floor area and six antique fireplaces. The venue has a rustic, country charm that creates a memorable backdrop for your wedding day. Along with an extravagant wedding venue, enjoy exquisite wedding cuisine prepared by Executive Chef Edgar Ortiz of La Luna Ristoranté. Bill Miller's Castle can accommodate up to 250 wedding guests, with indoor and outdoor spaces. The indoor ballroom offers an enormous dance floor and three-story fireplace. For outdoor locations, the picturesque Castle gazebo has a large deck to host cocktail hour and the Trellis under the trees is ideal for ceremonies. Bill Miller's Castle hosts only one event per day, ensuring privacy and exclusive access to the facility.

Venue Features

The Scene:: Bill Miller’s Castle offers a very unique backdrop for your special day. From the exterior, you will see breathtaking architecture, complete with stonework, a tower and many peaks that embody a Castle. As you make your way inside, you will find the rustic charm of the venue. The original barn that dates back to the 1800’s is still part of the structure. Recycled barn wood was used to expand the venue in the 60’s and again in the early 90’s.

The venue was built by Bill Miller who purchased the original barn in 1963. He bought the barn to be a dance and gymnastics studio. He updated the barn and made additions using recycled materials from historic places all over the northeast. People were immediately drawn to this interesting new building. The lead paned windows found around the Castle are from Yale University, wrought iron balconies from the Providence Opera House and various antiques from the P.T Barnum Estate are found throughout the property.
