SUSTAINABILITY
A Natural Choice For Your Wedding
Burdock & Co’s loyalty to organic and sustainable ingredients is accompanied by a mandate of sharing the joys of farm-to-table cooking with the wider community. Weddings can leave quite the eco-footprint; decor, flowers, food and party favors are often used once only to be discarded the following day. We take advantage of our special relationships with local farmers and small businesses to extend the Burdock & Co philosophy to your celebration.
Burdock & Co is proud to partner with other local businesses that focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing, such as Studio Full Bloom, Outlandish Shellfish, and Curious Oyster Co. Our naturalist wine program features incredible wineries such as bottles of Bella bubbly, a B.C. producer of natural sparkling wines of exceptional quality using the traditional and ancestral methods of minimal processing.
Partnering with local farmers like Foxglove Farms, Glorious Organics, and Inner City Farms ensures us access to the freshest ingredients. Effortlessly aesthetic, each dish on our menu is crafted with a refined technique that shines a spotlight on the region’s natural bounty of sustainable seafood, organic vegetables, ethically raised meats and fresh dairy.

WINE TIME
Our Wine Program
“We aim to recover the freedom of making wine with the taste of the earth from which it comes, according to the idea of assisting nature and not dominating her.” - Paolo Bea, wine-maker
Naturalist wine producers shoulder a stewardship of the land, challenging the conventions of chemical farming and industrial winemaking by growing grapes that express an authentic terroir. Burdock & Co’s naturalist wine program honours this homage to time and place by celebrating a return to the earth. Honest, genuine and stimulating, the evolving wine list complements the tone of the menu and the room. Among many honours, Burdock & Co’s wine program received the Platinum Award for Wine Program Excellence at the 2017 Vancouver International Wine Festival, a nod to an expertly curated list that brings to guests the best naturalist wines available in Vancouver.
Sommelier Service
For enthusiasts of fine wines or those seeking to enhance their reception with a unique experience, Burdock & Co’s certified sommelier is available to guide guests through a comprehensive tasting of the restaurant’s naturalist wine list.
