- The Scene:
- The view is the Pacific Ocean and beach. There are only a handful of other houses on the beach... it is very open air and you immediately feel like you are luxury camping on the beach.
- Design:
- The house is constructed using cement and local fruit woods. The front door is reclamined from an abandoned Mexican church built in the 1700's. All metal work including hinges and door knobs were handmade by a craftsman using his grandfather's design from a local town in the mountains. The feel is rustic yet modern in its simplicity.
- Standout Venue Features:
- The house is only a few yards from the beach break so it's an easy walk to surf. Our cook has been trained by some of the top master chefs in the US... her cooking is simple, local and very fresh. Fish caught from the local fishermen is grilled right outside the kitchen for dinner. The house is only a 20 minute car ride to a world class yoga retreat. And you can book one of their massage therapists to come to the house for an amazing Thai massage. The pool is beach level. And the master bedroom features a private outdoor shower overlooking the ocean.
- Food, Restaurants, Cafes:
- Our cook has been trained by some of the top master chefs in the US... her cooking is simple, local and very fresh. Fish caught from the local fishermen is grilled right outside the kitchen for dinner.
There is a restaurant in Troncones (20 minutes away)... that has great fish tacos (Ricardos) and you can watch the baby turtles hatch and participate in their release to the ocean each night.
