Venue Setting

The Catahoula Hotel is set in a historic 18th century Creole townhouse, restored for a new era. The property offers several charming spaces to host your event. Piscobar, with its checkered floors and exposed brick walls is tucked between the hotel's lobby and a private outdoor courtyard, with a street entrance through what was formerly a high-ceilinged horse stall. Tropical plants hang throughout, bringing an airy and tropical feeling to the space that is reminiscent of old New Orleans and charming South American spaces. The courtyard adjacent to the bar is lit with glittering string lights to accent the patina of the original brick walls.

Each of the 35 guest rooms is unique, with restored plaster walls & brick walls, balconies and terraces throughout. Each room has a rainfall shower head, walk-in water closet, king or queen sized bed, flat screen television and artisanal bath products by a local soapmaker.

The rooftop terrace features a cocktail bar, a cedar pergola, lounge seating and soaring views of the New Orleans skyline. Available for private events, outdoor workshops, cocktail parties and even yoga.
