THE GARDEN

Our garden is truly magical. From the street, you would never know there is a hidden oasis in the heart of downtown Franklin, Tennessee. It is the perfect location for intimate wedding ceremonies, cocktail parties or just a leisurely stroll after enjoying dinner in the pavilion.


THE PAVILION

Day or night, a party in our pavilion looks and feels amazing. It truly is a blank canvas ready for you to customize with your unique style. Any color palette will look perfect with our lush garden as your backdrop. A wide variety of special event lighting is available such as chandeliers, paper lanterns or string lights and you can choose from over 50 linen colors (included in all event packages) to truly make the look your own.

THE HOUSE

The house was built in 1911 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. It was popularly known around Franklin as the home and studio of photographer Sam Causey for nearly forty years. The iron gates made popular in his portraits are still in use today. When the garden is closed December – March, we can entertain up to 40 guests indoors. During the rest of the year, the house provides dressing rooms for the wedding party, food and beverage displays and offices for our planning staff. Brides love the bridal suite, with plenty of space to get ready together with the wedding party. Guys love our wine cellar, or more commonly known as “the man cave.”

We like to keep things simple and straightforward. So here is a quick look at what you can expect to see on an invoice from CJ’s Off the Square:

- Event Package Price (please contact venue directly for current pricing and availability)
- Per Person Price: This allows your event to scale up or down based on the number of guests you are expecting. This price includes food & beverage, service staff, tables, linens, chairs, place settings etc. (i.e. products and services that are dependant on the total number of guests).
- 9.25% Sales Tax
- $500 security deposit, which is fully refundable after your event
- Additional Event Services  – You may wish to provide your own vendors or choose from our affordable in-house services to enhance the look of your event. We are happy to quote any in-house services you are interested during your venue tour.
