Originally established as a dance school in 1951, this institution today, is considered to be one of the state’s oldest and most successful art academies. Grab your favorite friend for an exceptional performance or get together with a group and sign up for one of the dance classes that are offered, where you will learn technique in pointe work, pas de deux, and modern jazz. Next thing you know, you’ll all be competing for a lead role in the Nutcracker!

Venue Setting

In 2014 the Colorado Ballet moved into it's newly renovated building in Denver's thriving Santa Fe Arts district. The new facility features eight state-of-the-art dance studios for Colorado Ballet’s professional Company and the Colorado Ballet Academy. In addition, a multi-use black box theater with retractable stadium seating functions as both a dance studio and performance and event space equipped with theatrical lighting, sound and telescoping seats for presenting smaller performances and hosting outside groups and their events. The studios range in size and amenities, and are perfect for hosting a fun, creative crowd for non-profit fundraisers, corporate meetings or receptions, weddings, art shows, and of course celebrating the arts.
