If you want to get a little bit wilder, the southern entrance to Joshua Tree National Park is only a half-hour drive away. Back at the home, you’ll find something of an oasis in the backyard. With a fire pit, patios, a pool and spa, and a grill and smoker, you could base the entire trip around that space and not run out of things to do.
