Venue Setting

Farmhouse Inn is located in the scenic Russian River Valley of Sonoma Wine Country in Northern California. This 6 acre parcel was once part of a much larger farm - in fact our Michelin-starred Restaurant is housed in the main house, which still sits at the front of the property. In addition to the main house we have 6 historic cottages and 17 new suites at the back of the property. Just off an $8 million expansion, our grounds, spa and shared spaces all integrate perfectly into the property. When you're at Farmhouse you feel like you're at your own private oasis.

Venue Features
The scene:
  • The Farmhouse Inn sits on six acres and is surrounded by vineyards and wooded landscape. The property was originally part of a hop farm back in the late 1800s and eventually became a resort for visitors to the Russian River Valley in the 1960s. In 2001 current owner-siblings, Catherine and Joe Bartolomei, purchased the then 8 room inn. Since then Catherine and Joe have transformed the property into a world-class destination. The Farmhouse Inn now has 25 luxury rooms and suites, a Michelin-starred restaurant and a new 3000 sq ft farm-to-table spa. Recent accolades include the 2015 Travel + Leisure World’s Best List (Farmhouse is #8) and Andrew Harper Grand Award and Reader’s Choice Award winner.
Design:
The Farmhouse Inn recently went through an $8 million expansion. The buildings on property are modern but meant to resemble buildings that may have been on the property when it was a working farm. The exteriors were designed by world-reknowned hospitality architect firm SB Architects. The interiors were designed by Myra Hofner out of Healdsburg, CA.

In an effort to encourage more impromptu adventures, we’ve gathered up some of our favorite spots that are easily accessible by car or a quick flight to enjoy the end of winter and early spring, places where you can be sure to get out of the everyday norm and experience nature, culture, zen, snow, or sea. And guess what? You can book all these rad spots directly through us. We even have a white glove concierge service who will book your whole itinerary if you’re into it.
