Inside Scoop

A hidden outdoor restaurant in a pole barn at a nearby campground serves up excellent food, and provides an unexpected setting for a rehearsal dinner, brunch or welcome gathering during your celebration week. Historic open-top tour buses and antique wooden cruise boats inside Glacier National Park can be chartered for your guests. At sunset, the field adjacent to our reception meadow becomes a totally private photographer\'s wonderland, with mountain backdrops and magic light. Nearby micro-distilleries make all kinds of spirits ready for Montana-inspired signature cocktails. Ask us for an insider\'s wink toward the best chocolate chip cookies on the planet, baked off the grid in a mercantile off a very long dirt road.

Venue Features
The Scene:
Our property is located just outside the west entrance to Glacier National Park, lovingly called the Crown Jewel of the Continent, in the mountains of northwestern Montana. Upon arriving, a wooded path leads your guests up to a grassy clearing surrounded by pines and wild foliage, with spectacular panoramic views of the peaks of Glacier National Park. A Lodgepole-framed wall-tent provides a shady spot for the bridal party to gather, take a deep breath (and a sip of champagne!), and wait for the ceremony to begin. The ceremony lawn is tiered so that, no matter the size of your group, everyone will have a fantastic view. Your guests won’t be able to help themselves: they’ll be raving about the natural beauty, the impressive peaks and the authentic Montana feeling of the place. From the ceremony, a short path will take your guests down to the reception, which is held under a classic white tent in an airy meadow. The simple surroundings offer infinite possibilities for decor, so you’ll be able to make the space feel like your own. The 40 x 75-foot frame tent, which comes fully installed with the venue rental, can be arranged in countless ways to best accommodate your guest count. Smaller groups find it cozy and intimate, while groups of 200 find it perfectly comfortable with plenty of room for dancing and mingling. As the sun goes down, the lights warm up, and the tent becomes completely enchanting.
Design:
We take great care to preserve the wild, natural feeling of our grounds, and nurture our native Montana plants and trees.
Standout Venue Features:
Aside from the wedding itself, our guests can use our property as a base camp for all of their Montana adventures -- including whitewater rafting, guided fly fishing, historic tours of Glacier National Park and more -- as all of these activities depart from our main office. This accessibility makes our property ideal for destination wedding weekends.
Extra Perks:
Our classic glamping-style wall-tent is ready for the bridal party's pre-ceremony sip of champagne or a small group's intimate wedding dinner. Bistro string lights are draped throughout the tent.
Awards & Notables Glacier Park Weddings has been featured in the Style Me Pretty Magazine, and on such lauded wedding blogs as Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, Style Me Pretty and Style Me Pretty Destination, as well as in local and regional publications.
