The Scene:
A DISTINCTIVE COUNTRY RETREAT

Grove at Briar Barn Inn reimagines rustic comfort in a quaint New England setting, just 30 miles from Boston. Enjoy the authentic hospitality of a country retreat, connected by winding paths through landscaped gardens.

Keeping with the rural history of Rowley a post and beam barn was the perfect shape for our 100-seat restaurant, Grove. When entering through our main entrance you will see the open-concept dining room, with hardwood floors, exposed beams, and an open and light-filled room! Our post-and-beam restaurant features rustic farm tables with plenty of seating for up to 100 guests, two double-ring black industrial chandeliers, and a full bar at the room's far end.

Just to the right of the main dining area is a smaller dining area with our second bar for private events. Just beyond the bar area, you will find our restrooms, a third bar, and another small dining or cocktail area that can be opened as needed. The second floor of our restaurant features a large suite that can be used as a dressing room before weddings. 

Design:
Our barn was built with an authentic timber frame using heavy timber beams and traditional joinery to produce a wooden structure that is durable, elegant, and sustainable. The white barn exterior creates a picture-perfect backdrop in any season!

Grove at Briar Barn Inn is located just steps away from our 30-room inn, outdoor pool, and spa! Guests can enjoy the property before and after the event for a relaxed experience before and after the main event.

Each client has access to our Events Team to be seamlessly guided through the planning of your wedding or event and enjoy personalized day-of assistance. Our client-coordinating services are complimentary to ensure you enjoy each and every moment of your planning process and wedding day! 
Celebration Locations
GROVE - MAIN DINING AREA:
\Our new post-and-beam barn restaurant features rustic farm tables with plenty of seating, black double-ring industrial chandeliers, and a full bar at the far end of the room. This is a great option for larger gatherings between 40-100.
- View: When entering through our main entrance you will see the open concept dining room with hardwood floors, exposed beams, and an open and light-filled room!
- Max Capacity: 100
THE BRAMBLE HOUSE:
The open concept of this area creates a flexible space for a cocktail hour, dinner, or meeting space. The second floor includes a larger private suite, complete with a private restroom, sitting area, and balcony that are well suited for VIP guests.
- View: The first floor of the Bramble House features vaulted ceilings, a private bar, restrooms, a fireplace, and plenty of natural light.
- Max Capacity: 60
THE BURROW & TERRACE:
The Burrow is a small private dining room with entrances adjacent to our main dining area. It can be accessed from an outdoor terrace, which has additional seating (weather permitting), bistro lights, and views of our landscaped lawns, fire pit area, and forested surroundings.
- View: The Burrow is a petite version of our main dining area with a private bar and restroom and a variety of options to suit your needs.
