Venue Setting

Our venue is located in the heart of the Lower Garden District facing Sophie B. Wright Park. Built in 1931, Il Mercato is a Spanish Colonial style building originally constructed as a neighborhood market. The building features a large private courtyard in addition to the newly renovated interior space. The interior renovation added herringbone wood floors, Italianate chandeliers, and a furnished library with banquette seating.
