Tucked between the twisting grapevines of the famed Brown Brothers winery, the 40-room hotel emanates the elegance and style of a sophisticated country residence, forming an idyllic base from which to explore the rich bounty of produce, local history and neighbouring towns. With two lounge areas to take uninterrupted views of the High Country. The onsite Restaurant Merlot led by executive chef Aaron Jose showcases the best of seasonally driven paddock-to-pate dining. With a pared-back interior floor-to-ceiling windows that frame both the vineyard and refurbished courtyard, it’s a place where a passion for everything delicious about the High Country comes to the table. Divided across two levels, the rooms and suites overlook manicured gardens, each framing views of the vineyard or distant alpine peaks. With a choice between Sunrise and Sunset rooms and suites, or the indulgent Balcony and Garden suites, guests are spoilt for space. Each air-conditioned space features polished concrete floors, bespoke timber joinery and a luxurious bouclé daybed. The in-room mini bar comprises an enticing assortment of locally sourced wines, beer and snacks.
