Good things come to those who wait – when we got to the top floor of this apartment we were totally wowed by the large terrace with its magnificent view of the Medici Chapels. Relax on the outdoor sofa with a glass of Prosecco or dine alfresco on some cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and pepper) at the table. Inside this home, you’ll find traditional interiors, with tables and cabinets displaying vases of flowers and ornate lamps. There are some of the same vistas from inside too – we love the aspect from the master bedroom and ensuite. When you're ready to explore, there’s so much to see. Where do we start? Well, the Medici Chapels are a two-minute stroll and it’s the same distance to the Duomo. The Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza della Signoria are all under ten minutes on foot.
